Organize your next virtual team-building event or cocktail hour with Bar IQ while learning how to make drinks like an expert and bonding with your friends and colleagues! Our beverage expert, Jason Hedges will guide you and your group through an interactive hour seminar, where you will make the drinks alongside us.

Wine Tasting

No boring lectures! Our Court of Master Sommeliers, Certified Sommelier, Jason Hedges will host your virtual tasting hour where you will taste selected varieties of wine alongside your group and learn how to analyze and articulate what you are tasting.

+ Learn all the great wine regions of the world
+Learn how to taste and evaluate wine like a professional 
+ Learn how to read a wine label
+ Learn how to open a bottle and detect flaws
+ Food pairing principles 
+ Learn how to confidently order a bottle of wine at a restaurant (yes it will return!)

Spirits Tasting 

Explore any or all major spirit categories and sub-categories. For example learn about the vast world of Whisk(e)y and all its sub-categories (i.e., Scotch, Irish Whiskey, Bourbon, Rye, Japanese, Canadian, etc.) and learn how to identify and enjoy the nuances of each style. We will customize the class based on the group's interests.

+ Learn all the major spirit categories and how to taste and evaluate them like a professional
+ Learn which spirits are best for which cocktail, sipping, etc...
+ Explore local and regional makers

Now that we have all the major components in place, we will need to make the bar experience visually appealing. Our award-winning art director will work with you personally to create a visual identity that authentically expresses the nature of your business and speaks directly to your guests. With the visual language in place, we will initiate a targeted marketing and PR outreach programs intended to publicize the new beverage program designed to attract the target clientele.

We’ll help you create the bar or wine cellar of your dreams inside your own home. Whether you’re looking to incorporate fine and rare bottles or create the perfect home bar for entertaining your guests. We’ll build it all out and then provide education on wine and spirit categories, how to taste and evaluate, serve, and create delicious and balanced cocktails.

• Evaluate clients home bar and wine cellar goals and facilitate the creation of that vision

• Work within budget to achieve the vision

• Procurement of fine and rare bottles

• Educate client on wine and spirits and how to taste and evaluate them

• Educate client on proper opening, pouring, and decanting of wine

• Educate client on bar tools, techniques, and making a balanced cocktail

• Provide client with a standardized list of classic cocktails
